Fit Talk w/ Jeannine O’Deens – Executive Director of Komen Greater CETX

Jeannine is the Executive Director of Susan G. Komen Greater Central and East Texas. Jeannine joined Komen in 2010 passionate about empowering women and providing resources to the most vulnerable in our community.  Like so many, she has lost friends to breast cancer and seen countless lives and families forever changed. She brings experience in sales and operations leadership to the Affiliate, 10 years with a Fortune 200 company and 13 years in the non-profit sector, most recently as VP Operations and Walk Director for Komen Austin and Komen Greater CETX.  Jeannine is most excited about connecting and empowering work teams, stakeholders and organizations to make their highest contribution.  She believes strongly in Komen’s foundation of grassroots activism to elevate and expand Komen’s contributions as a thought leader, impact maker, and critical catalyst for everyone in the breast cancer space.

A life-long learner, she is a proud alumna of Leadership Austin and the Seton Cove Leadership Pilgrimage.  She has served with several community organizations, most recently as VP for Young Men’s Service League.  A Midwest native with three children, she enjoys everything Austin and Hill Country.
