New Texas Law Aims to Save Lives

Signed into law last week was Senate Bill 199. The bill will make it easier for businesses and organizations to have functioning Automated External Defibrillators (AED) on site, in hopes that this will end the trend of needless civilian deaths resulting from cardiac arrest. For this end, the law now takes liabilities regarding the AED function and usage for businesses out of the equation.
