Learn how your metabolism works!

In this workshop, Health Coach Sonya Latinovic will teach you how to calculate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). This is a healthy and joyful way to understand how your metabolism works (it’s different for everyone)!

When you understand your metabolic adaptation, you’ll be able to adjust your caloric intake to your specific goals whether that’s weight loss, weight gain, or maintaining your body weight. Unlike other fads or diets, this method doesn’t encourage extreme restriction, but instead celebrates a unique and scientific understanding of your body in a way that helps promote sustained and lifelong changes.

 

Sonya will provide examples of how to calculate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) by coverings the basics of understanding your basal metabolic rate, thermic effect of feeding, exercise energy expenditure, and non-exercise activity thermogenesis.
