Wildfire Benefit This Friday

This Friday, May 6, come out to a benefit for West Texas Fire Relief sponsored by the owners of The Hotel San Jose, Jo’s Coffee, Decoder Ring and Frank. The event will last from 6-10 p.m. and will feature live music performances by Patty Griffin, Shawn Colvin, Erika Wennerstrom of Heartless Bastards, Amy Cook & David Garza, and Moonlight Towers.

Food and beverage sponsors include Shiner, Frank, Lambert’s Downtown Barbecue and Home Slice Pizza.

All proceeds from the event, suggested donation $20, will benefit the Jeff Davis County Relief Fund, Marfa Public Radio, and the Marfa and Fort Davis Volunteer Fire Departments.

This Friday, help out your fellow Texans. Far West Texas has lost over 275,000 acres to the wildfire, and it’s still only 66% contained.
