Pet of the Month – July 2023

This month’s featured pet is Dinah, brought to you by Austin Pets Alive! Dinah is a seven-year-old retriever/labrador mix who would enjoy a lively lifestyle in an apartment or house surrounded by people. She’s known as the “Running Queen,” as her age doesn’t stop her from getting all the wiggles and zoomies. “As soon as you get her out of the shelter and on a trail, she absolutely shines!” says Ellis, one of her volunteer friends.

Dinah also has excellent on-leash manners and adores rolling around in the grass when taking breaks from her zoomies. After her adventures, she will enjoy relaxing with you, snuggled up on the couch or patio for her post-active nap. Dinah is a spunky lady who would love to explore with a canine friend and also does well as the only animal in the home. Here at the shelter, Dinah is a rockstar in a playgroup and loves to be around other laid-back pups. She knows all her basic skills and is eager to keep her mind sharp.
