Hello Austin Fit Fam! AFM influencer Nikki Zahka (@Fitwithnikk_) again, and this time, I am so excited to highlight a local CBD gem founded and thriving right here in Austin by three sisters, two of whom I am proud to call my friends!
RESTART CBD was founded here in Austin, Texas, in 2018 by three sisters after their family found relief using CBD to help eldest sister Shayda navigate an auto-pedestrian accident that she was recovering from that left her with chronic pain. In addition to her dealing with an injury, the middle sister Sydney, who was a collegiate swimmer for the University of Texas, was beginning to explore her relationship with Cannabis for athletic recovery. When the Torabi sisters decided to launch their brand, the market was filled with lots of miseducation, and quality products were lacking, which is what led to them overly investing in those two categories early on. And it’s why they are still a leader today, not only known here locally but nationwide.
