Love — the concept permeates every aspect of our culture. Love and relationships are the subjects of songs, poems, movies and books. And not surprisingly, a prime topic of discussion in most people’s lives. In fact, love is so potent, its effects have been compared to that of a drug. But our love of the opposite sex can often become a feisty, contentious gender battle. As if maintaining a relationship and understanding the opposite sex wasn’t complicated enough, it turns out that for a plethora of reasons from cultural and physical to psychological and evolutionary — the game of love can get pretty darn tricky.
