Last Minute Marathon Info Here!

Are you participating in the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon this weekend? Get all your last minute information here, and your marathon weekend will run as smooth as a gazelle. Haven’t signed up for the Marathon or Half yet? Well, registration for those is already closed, but family, friends and latecomers can still register for the Paramount 5k, which runs the same day, with the same start/finish times.

Expo and Packet Pickup

Friday the 18th, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., pick up your race packet at the Health & Fitness Expo. You’ll need to come with your photo ID to get your number and timing device.

Plan Ahead

The Marathon’s website advises you to make your dinner reservations now. You’ll need to get a good meal and plenty of sleep the night before, so make sure you’ve already planned how accomplish these so you’ll be ready to go in the morning. And be sure to check out the minor changes made to the course this year. Also, make sure you’re familiar with where you’ll be parking and the route you’ll take to avoid traffic on the morning of the marathon.
