Howdy, AFM!

This month’s featured pet is Marsala, brought to you by Austin Pets Alive!. Marsala is a nearly three-year-old Boxer mix who would enjoy a lively lifestyle in a house with a big play yard to frolic around.

Whenever Marsala goes to a play yard with APA! staff members, she jumps around with glee and excitement to greet them and loves to play fetch whenever possible. She has so much energy that she’ll still roll around the grass when tired! But while she loves being outside, she is just as happy to be a couch potato.

This good girl is a TOP Dog trainee, which means she’s working on ten real-world skills to be a better canine citizen! APA! staff are working on her on-leash skills and overexcitement when meeting other dogs. She is already crate-trained and is good about being left alone in the home while her people are away.

Marsala’s wildest dream is to find people to call her own. She needs a family intent on helping her get to the next level in her training so that she can live up to her full potential and be the best companion anyone could ever ask for.
