Meet “Vampire Slayer,” a domestic longhair 10-month-old kitten available for adoption at Austin Pets Alive!. Known as “Buffy” in her foster home, she is half kitten, half bunny, and 100% perfect. While her care may look slightly different, she loves to snuggle and play like any other kitten.

Despite how awesome her name is, Vampire Slayer is a goofy and energetic kitten. At only 6 pounds, she loves to play with the other kitties in her foster home; she would love to find a forever home where she can have kitty playmates. She has also had positive experiences with dogs and is very tolerant and brave around her foster parent’s dogs; a slow introduction will set you up for success.

Vampire Slayer needs a little extra care, this is because she has Manx Syndrome. As is common with Manx cats, her spine is shortened and didn’t develop normally. As a result, she doesn’t have a tail, and her black legs are a little wonky, so she looks a bit like a bunny when she hops around. APA! will show and explain everything you need to know to ensure you are comfortable with her.

After your fitness activities, Vampire Slayer will greet you at home with endless purrs, snuggles, and hilarious kitten antics. Nothing can stop this sweet kitten from sharing her love with everyone. She will never leave your side no matter how tough life can be.

There are no fees for her adoption; if you are interested in Vampire Slayer, her foster parents would love to tell you more about Buffy and answer any questions about her needs.

Vampire Slayer is ready to “hop” out of her foster home and into her forever home! If you’d like to foster or adopt Vampire Slayer or any of our adorable adoptable pets, visit austinpetsalive.org or come in person any day from 12 pm to 6 pm at 1156 W Chavez near downtown Austin.
